This is the older Sniper 1 I have come across. I purchased it without knowning the serial number and when I disassembled it I was surprised to find the serial of “11” on the side. It was unfortunately stripped of anodizing and repainted in metallic silver.

I have replaced the frame and grips that came on this Sniper with a Sniper 1 (cut down Sheridan frame) with Elite Battle Grips. Some will argue that the asa is not original, but according to Bud Orr, his earliest Sniper used a round asa before moving to the square model and then back to the round model (around serial 300 or 400.
