Right side of Hand Tooled National Survival Game Rapide. c.1988.

National Survival Games introduced the Splatmaster around 1985. As the early paintgun competition moved to pump markers from bolt action, NSG looked for something more competative.

The Rapide Double action was developed and released in the summer of 1988. This is one of the prototypes, which Bob Gurnsey referred to as the early Rapide prototype and that it was hand tooled, since it was machined by hand.

This prototype was purchased from Gurnsey in 2015.
